Business Korean (AMES 493-680)
Students in the business Korean class are expected to study the business environment in Korea. It is assumed that students can communicate in Korean. The first part of this course focuses on studying basic knowledge and terminology of business, which are fundamental to understand the business environment in Korea. The second part, which is designed to be the application of what they have learned in the first half, consists of reading newspapers, watching news and presenting topics of interest. This course will invite speakers from outside to help student understand Korean business culture. The invited speakers are those who had practical experiences in Korean firms.
