Course Description/Objectives:
- Beginning Cantonese is a preliminary course for spoken Cantonese. The course provides fundamental aspects of the dialect as experienced in daily life situations and will enable students to communicate in Cantonese for basic survival needs. The course will be completed in two semesters.
- Intermediate Cantonese is a course for students who are able to communicate in the dialect in basic survival situations. Through this course the students will acquired a better understanding of Cantonese and its related culture, and can confidently cope with a wide range of situations. The course will be completed in two semesters.
