Students may fulfill the language requirement with most PLC languages. Some exceptions apply either because these courses do not include a written component or because they have not yet developed into a full sequence. These languages include Armenian, Cantonese, Spoken Chinese I-IV, Haitian Creole, Spoken Japanese I-II, Kazakh, Spoken Korean I-II, Kurdish, Luganda, Taiwanese, and Quechua.
